About

I began my jewelry-making journey in 2002. I am fortunate to work on something I enjoy greatly, which also brings immense joy to my fans. My work has evolved over the past 25 years as my skills have grown, and my fans continue to trust my craftsmanship. My mission is to share my gift of art by creating beautiful, timeless, and wearable heirloom jewelry.
I am drawn to botanical and airy designs. I use colored gemstones and pearls, and work in Argentium sterling silver and high-karat gold to create one-of-a-kind jewelry. I hand-select all my gemstones to ensure quality, beauty, and ethical sourcing. I add texture and form to metal using various metalsmithing techniques to create functional and unique pieces. No two are alike. While that would make my work easier, I would not enjoy creating identical pieces, and neither would my fans.
As a self-taught artist, I developed my skills through workshops and publications from experts in the field, and much perseverance at the jewelry bench. I'm passionate about my jewelry and guarantee that my work is expertly crafted and designed to be timeless and wearable.
Background: I was born in Matanzas, Cuba. The communist regime drove my courageous and selfless parents away in 1971. As immigrants, we settled in the US, “the land of opportunity”. I began my career in the corporate world. I graduated from USF, Tampa, with a BA in Business Administration. I worked in various advertising/marketing/sales and customer services positions in corporate America. I worked at Cox Newspapers, Colgate-Palmolive, Eastman Kodak, and AGL Resources, where I applied my undergraduate and graduate business and marketing degrees. These companies taught me a lot about customer service, product marketing, and branding. During the COVID lockdown, I earned Certificates in Colored Stones Essentials and Jewelry Essentials from the Gemological Institute of America, aka GIA.
I live in the Cleveland area with my husband and daughter. I enjoy yoga, walks with my doodle Lily, traveling, and being outdoors.
